As a mother and grandmother who has worked as a Registered Nurse, both within Australia and overseas, most recently in Child and Family Health, I have 50 years’ experience of hospital, community and family health.
I completed the International Board Certified Lactation Consultant Certification in 2014, and in 2015 I completed 2 years of training to become a Breastfeeding Counsellor for the ABA.
I established my private lactation consultancy in 2014 – Living Milk. I am a volunteer with the ABA in my local community, and on the national helpline.
I love to be with my wonderful family and am closely and playfully connected to my grandchildren. Health and fitness are a priority in my life, through bush and coastal walks, yoga, and cycling. I delight in my Book Club and socialising with my friends.
